Pet Dish TV – A New Way of Housing Shelter Dogs
On this week’s episode of Pet Dish TV a look at a brand way of housing shelter dogs. We take you inside Animal Humane Society’s Dog Habitat Prototype and talk about the benefits of group housing for shelter dogs. Here at AHS we’re constantly looking at how we can make an animal’s stay in shelter more enriching. Knowing that dogs are social creatures, our team of animal experts began looking into if and how we could facilitate group housing of shelter dogs. Our leadership team visited shelters all over the country to get ideas and recently we embarked on an experimental dog habitat like we’ve never seen before.
