Best Practices for Brucella canis Prevention and Control in Dog Breeding Facilities

It should be considered a work in progress, because the understanding of this important disease continues to evolve through advances in scientific knowledge. The information contained herein is not meant to supersede any local, state, tribal, or federal laws, regulations or policies concerning brucellosis in dogs. The recommendations are intended to be considered best practices, are not meant to be exclusive management approaches, and may require adaptation to meet the specific needs of individual animals and particular circumstances.
